  Tecumseh Dance Theatre Company

Tecumseh Dance Theatre Company TDTC is the Dance Company of theTecumseh Dance Workshop. Dancers must be serious minded and intent on learning their Craft. Dancer and parent must sign a Contract which commits the Dancer to all rules pertaining to TDW and TDTC Members have the opportunity to work with outside choreographers. TDTC has an annual Dance Concert at the Tecumseh Center for the Arts and attends one Weekend Expo, taking Master classes and Performing. Members are expected to be role models inside and outside the Workshop and be helpful and supportive of each other. Dancers compete ONLY with themselves to improve in Artistry, Technique and Musicality. TDTC's 7 month Season begins in September. Company Class is held on Tuesday nights at 8pm. Ballet Mistress is Annamia Anderson Rumley. Company Fee is $350, due at First Rehearsal and is non-refundable and non-transferrrable toward any other TDW Fees. Company Class is paid for in the Tuition Schedule.

Tecumseh's Award Winning Dance Company

Tecumseh Dance Theatre Company attended the Dupree Expo in Chicago. Of the twelve Dances taken, Ten received Gold Awards and 2 received Silver Awards. Mrs K's "Valse" received a Special Award, "The Epaulement" for excellence in Classical Ballet. Kelsi Malcolm was given a Scholarship for Classical Ballet. The Finalists included the following Company Members, Lauren Drouillard, Loren Hayes, Rachel Malcolm and Hannah Lantzy.

Kelsi Malcolm was accepted, for the third year to the Joffrey's Pre-Professional Summer School and was also 1 of 20 dancers accepted into the Alvin Ailey Pre-Professional Summer School in New York. Molly Kirby was accepted into Ballet Met's Pre-Professional Summer School and was also accepted into American Ballet Theatre's Pre-Professional Summer School in Alabama. Rachel Malcolm and Lauren Drouillard have been accepted into Cincinnati Ballet's Pre-Professional Summer School.

Company attended Cathy Roe Weekend in Howell, May 1st, taking 9 Dances and receiving 3 High Gold Awards, 5 Gold Awards and 1 Silver Award.
