Class Schedule (Subject to Change)

Grades are Guidelines. Missed classes non-refundable. Makeups in ANY class at Student's Level. Company Class paid within Tuition Schedule. Dropped classes or TDTC Fee not refundable or transferrable to Tuition or Costume Fee. TDW is open on School Half Days, In-Service Days and most Snow days. Cancellations on WLEN. Christmas and Easter Holidays follow School Schedule. Royal Academy of Dance Examinations offered to qualified students. TDW students have been accepted into the Pre-Professional Schools of Joffrey Ballet, American Ballet Theatre, Alvin Ailey, Hubbard Street Dance,Cincinnati Ballet and Interlochen. Tecumseh Dance Theatre Company has received special Awards in Chicago for Excellence in Classical Ballet and Overall Highest Score from Dupree Dance Expos.

Semester 1 (4 Months) - Monday, August 23 - Thursday, Dec 17 (Tuition due at Registration)

Semester 2 (4 Months) - Monday, January 3 - Saturday, May 14 (Tuition due Mon., January 3rd)

TDW opens 4pm Mondays,Tuesdays,Thursdays & 3pm Wednesdays.

TDTC rehearsals: Saturdays 10am - 3pm

ZUMBA: Now offered at TDW! - A High Energy Cardio Class with Latin and Hip/Hop Music - upbeat easy movement - Join us Tuesdays at 9am and Thursdays at 9am and 7pm. $5 Drop in Fee or $50 for 12 sessions

Attendance

We expect students to be committed to their Dance Education. Please make every effort to bring your student to class on time. Dance training must be consistent. Only 3 Absences per Semester for illness, serious family situations and Church or School Committments. If a student is ill or injured a Physician's note may be required before resuming classes. Semester 2  choreography is worked on for the annual Dance concert - student MUST be in class to work with classmates. Missed classes may result in not performing in May. The Dance Concert is a CLASS effort.

Dress Code (NO STREET CLOTHES)

Students must be dressed appropriately for class - HAIR must be secured away from face. Young Dance may wear pink leotards and no ribbons required on shoes. ALL other ballet classes are to wear TDW's uniform -blue camisole leotard, pink tights and ballet shoes with ribbons sewn as in Pointe shoes. Ballet shoes must fit student like a glove- if they are bought  to grow into it hinders their progression. Split sole shoes should not been worn by younger students, as the full sole, aides in strengthening feet. All other classes check with Teacher as to dancewear and shoes. Ribbons for Ballet shoes are available from Mrs K. TDW students have been noted for their dress code, appearance, and demeanor. Discipline and Tradition in Dance is of utmost importance. TDW is open on In- Service days, Half days and most Snow days. Call us or listen to WLEN in case of cancellation.

TDW is not responsible for lost or stolen items nor for injuries on or around the Premises.

Tuition Schedule - Please be prompt with Tuition.

Semester 1 (4 Months) - Monday, August 23 - Thursday, Dec 17 (Tuition due at Registration) Labor Day and Thanksgiving Week OFF classes resume when students return to School.

Semester 2 (4 Months) - Monday, January 3 - Saturday, May 14 (Tuition due Mon., January 3rd) Easter Break follows School Schedule

Registration Fee has been re-instated: $15  per Student for the Dance Year, August 2010 to May 2011. Semester 2 has two extra weeks for the same price.

Families taking more than 6 classes per week pay a Nominal Fee of $15 PER SEMESTER for each class added.

Classes taken in BOTH time slots - Higher Pay Schedule is Used.

Returned Check Fee is $25.

COSTUME FEE  is  $70 PER costume PER Class and due no later than THURSDAY, DECEMBER 1 - TDW Concerts are Productions and are costly - Teachers would like a wider choice and costumes have become expensive. This is the first change in 14 years.

PAYMENT IS DUE THE FIRST WEEK OF EACH SEMESTER

PAYMENT PLAN - Half at Registration or First Week of each Semester - BALANCE due First week of Following month. Late Tuition will not be accepted without the $15 Late Fee added.

Tecumseh Dance Theatre Company and the Annual Student Body Dance Concert will be $10 per Ticket.
