Trained in Australia through the Royal Academy of Dance. (RAD) Teacher Training in Canada and the U.S.
Taught at the Community School of Ballet, Dance Theatre,Youth Ballet Repertory and 7 years at Siena Heights University. Choreographed for Youth Ballet Repertory,Tecumseh Youth Theatre.Artistic Director of Tecumseh Dance Theatre Company. Certified and Registered with the Royal Academy of Dance, London, England. She is an Associate of the International Dance Teachers Association. Mrs K prepares students interested in Royal Academy of Dance Examinations and is Artistic Director of Tecumseh Dance Theatre Company.
Joe Briggs, (Mr. B)
Trained with Marjorie Randazzo,Cleveland Ballet School and the National Ballet of
Canada. Performed with Harbinger Inc and Pittsburgh Ballet Theatre under the direction of former
Balanchine Dancer, Patricia Wilde. Danced Principal Roles in Contemporary and Claxxical Ballets,
working with world famous Choreographers, Jirsitri Kylian and Paul Taylor. Taught at Point Park and
Siena Heights Universities and was Director of TCA's Nutcracker for several years. He is available for Master classes and Workshops. Joe has been on the Faculty for 10 years.
Deena Bryan, (Mrs. B)
Trained at TDW and Oakland University. Danced with Oakland Dance
Theatre. Toured the U.S. with Hoctor Dance Caravan. Adjudicated at numerous College Dance Festivals. Performed with Twyla Tharp. Choreographs for Tecumseh Youth Theatre. Executive Director of Tecumseh Dance Theatre Company. She has been on the Faculty for 14 years.
Rhea O'Toole Kupisz (Mrs Rhea) DMM, DMA
Has over 20 years experience and training. Performed as a Soloist and with a Precision Dance Line. Choreographed for Tecumseh Youth Theatre and is Associate of Tecumseh Dance Theatre Company. She has been on the Faculty for 11 years and is Certified through Dance Masters of America. Rhea also teaches Zumba classes at TDW and the
surrounding area.
Annamia Anderson Rumley (Mrs. A)
Trained at TDW, Community School of Ballet and Youth Ballet Repertory, where she taught and danced with the Company. Performed with CSB Dance Group. Studied
with Peter Sparling, Gay DeLange, Bill De Young and Jessica Vogel at U of M. She took time off teaching
because of illness. She is Ballet Mistress of Tecumseh Dance Theatre Company and Artistic Director of
of Tecumseh Center for the Arts, "Nutcracker". She is Mrs K's eldest Daughter.
